Material Sciences Project Manager
Position Overview: Material Sciences Project Manager will drive connectivity of CMC and JSC project needs and translating into Material Science technical strategies and operational plans. In close collaboration with the Material Sciences CMC Scientific Integrators and sub-teams, this role will be responsible for designing operational plans by coordinating technical and quality deliverables, facilitating decision-making activities, and identifying risks requiring problem solving and contingency planning. This individual will lead their assigned projects in short and long-term strategic planning, including business planning activities.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the BTDS Material Sciences co-project leader in collaboration with CMC Scientific Integrator and Tech Transfer Leads
Strategically partner cross-functionally as matrix leader to plan and execute on material control strategies and material sciences stage gate deliverables.
Facilitate and/or participate in meetings to ensure the sharing of information, knowledge, ideas, and judgment to help establish valid scientific directions in product development or investigations.
Requirement:
A Bachelors in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Pharmacy/Pharmaceutics or a related field with at least 3 years experience
Demonstrated competency and experience in product/process development, technology transfer, or investigations within the pharmaceutical industry is strongly preferred.
Demonstrated experience in project leadership, working effectively in matrix team is required.
Demonstrated proficiency leading complex technical projects is strongly preferred
